Delete your account

Topics Archive (app and website, org.openverb.topicsarchive). Your account is yours to close, from either one, and it takes a minute.

In the app

  1. 1. Open the Library tab.
  2. 2. Tap Delete account.
  3. 3. Enter your password and confirm.

On the website

Sign in and open the delete page, or go to Settings and choose Delete account.

What is deleted

  • · Your account, your email address and your password
  • · Your liked songs
  • · Your playlists, including any you published
  • · Your comments
  • · Every device you are signed in on

It happens at once, not after a waiting period, and it cannot be undone.

What is kept

The archive's own songs, which were not yours to begin with. How often a song has been played is kept as a total, with your name taken off it, so the figures stay true without belonging to anybody.

If it will not delete

An account that made part of the archive — the songs, the people, the matches — cannot be deleted on its own, because the archive would go with it. Get in touch and it will be sorted out by hand.
